Summer of '57

Went antiquing at Sellwood today and found a couple more old cookbooks with nice illustrations. I decided to take a leaf from them and do the Bishop women all relaxing on a nice day.

This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite pieces of yours, Amy. The black line art with the blue shapes is really nifty. A classic retro look. The composition, body language and facial expressions are . . . (Editors note: At this point, Mr. Carpenter gushes on in a manner that is most embarrassing. Breaking it down into simple terms, he finds this work of Ms. Mebberson's quite pleasing and would like her to know that he is most impressed.) . . . and the cat in the tree is hilarious!!!!

I hope I didn't go on too much (Oh well, it'll probably end up being edited anyhow). :P
